Welcome to Keane's!
When you step into Keane's, while the facilities are modern and comfortable, the atmosphere is one of stepping back in time. Over the years it has grown from shop to pub, to restaurant, to function facilities and accommodation, all the while catering for local, national and international alike. The site of the bar has been occupied by the Keane family since 1641 and today it is owned and managed by Michael + Bridie, assisted by daughters Aisling + Lorraine. It is very much a hands on business with Bridie in the background baking bread and making desserts, supervising the pub and responsible for accommodation, while Aisling + Lorraine manage the restaurant. The Keane family together with chef Noel Harte and staff strive to make your visit an enjoyable and memorable one.

Location
We are located in the South-West of County Clare next to the Shannon Estuary, Loop Head Peninsula and the Atlantic Ocean, 5 minutes from Kilkee on the Kilrush road and 45 min. from Ennis.All the sights of County Clare are within easy driving distance, as are golf courses, beaches and angling spots. Restaurant
We do our best to provide you with memorable dinners, served in a friendly, helpful environment. All our meals are cooked to order with the freshest possible ingredients. Functions
We can easily accommodate up to 80 people in the purpose built function room. Christmas parties, special birthdays, wedding rehearsal dinners are all catered for with a choice of menu available, freshly cooked. See more of the function room here....

Accommodation
A wide choice of B& B and self catering accommodation is available to the visitor. It ranges from Twin and double bedroom units with kitchenette to double bedrooms with full kitchen.
